Danay Suarez Celebrates Release of Palabras Manuales at El Tucan on International Women’s Day

Miami, FL – February 14, 2017 – Soulful Cuban songstress Danay Suarez will celebrate her highly-anticipated new release Palabras Manuales on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 with a free 18 and over show at El Tucan (1111 SW 1st Ave, Miami, FL 33130) featuring a number of surprise special guests. The first single from the collection is called “Integridad”, which will be released February 17 and features Stephen Marley.

Suarez’s new release, available on all digital platforms March 3, is mixed as one seamless record. It also includes production from Marley, Idan Raichel, Roberto Fonseca, Jason Matthews, as well as Suarez. Featured artists include Marley, Raichel, Fonseca, Aja Monet and El B de Los Aldeanos. Contributing musicians: Hector “Junior” Ferreiro, Nick Tannura, Aaron Glueckauf, Julito Padron, Rodrigo Zambrano, Josh Allen, TedZimmerman, Sam Savugn, DJ Le Spam, and Philbert Armenteros

“This album must be listened to a few times in order to hear all of its intentions,” says Suarez. “I truly enjoyed the creative process of weaving the words with the melodies, and pondering the significance of each letter, rhyme, passage in reverse, and moments of lyrical singing.”

The artist was born and raised in La Habana, Cuba, and is recognized as one of the principal figures in Cuba’s underground rap movement.  Thoughtful and eloquent, Danay uniquely combines soul and hip-hop with reggae, and the traditional Cuban styling called son.
