Electric Piquete to Debut at Bar Nancy on Cinco de Mayo, 10 p.m.

Miami, FL – April 28, 2017 – Award-winning Latin funk band Electric Piquete will make their debut at the brand new Bar Nancy on Cinco de Mayo, beginning at 10 p.m. They will play two sets of originals and Latin jazz standards. The nautically-themed craft cocktail bar will offer $5 Dulce Vide Blaco tequila shots all night to celebrate the occasion. No cover; 21 and over are welcome.

Electric Piquete, two-time Miami New Times “Best Latin Band” award-winners, fuse rock, jazz, funk, Afro-Caribbean, progressive and R&B influences with incendiary results. Last summer they issued their “Singles Collection” digitally and on CD, and released a video for their single “Cut Me Loose”. Having played virtually every major music festival in South Florida, they traveled to North Carolina during Hurricane Matthew to play the Shakori Hills GrassRoots Festival last October. Named after the Nancy, the doomed Revolutionary supply ship that was supposedly the first ship to hoist an American flag in a foreign port, Little Havana’s newest craft cocktail establishment is located at 2007 SW 8th Street, Miami, FL 33135. The vibe is colonial-era nautical, and once you’ve entered, the sense is one is in the galley of a ship. With wood-lined walls, tables and chairs, a natural essence is prevalent. For more information about the Nancy, call 305.397.8971.
